Sometimes we want things that don’t happen naturally to happen naturally. There’s a part of each of us that irrationally wonders why someone has more money or seems happier or has a more successful family etc.
Down deep, we know these kinds of things don’t just happen.
In truth, sh__ is much more likely to happen than anything I’ve listed above.
Whatever you want has a path that leads to it. Despite what you have seen in movies, this is no less true with relationships. Intimacy doesn’t just happen. Infatuation happens. Hormones happen, not love.
A major part of the path that leads to love is getting to know each other, and that may take some unnatural, disciplined process, especially if you’ve had some bumps in the road.
Getting to know each other, featuring Conversation-starters and Share-starters, draws you together at a deeper level, increases mutual trust, increases your understanding of each other and opens your hearts to each other.
Getting to Know You - Formats
Each subject line (or “theme”) has a “suggested share” format, however, you can do any subject line in any format. Note that if you choose the Face to Face format, there are specific guidelines for each subject line. Once you go to the app, click the triangle to the left of a format for tips and instructions.
