Mahana Interview

If I do not give or provide this, his or her love or acceptance is the evidence that I must truly be lovable. In other words, not showing up as ________ or giving ________ could be a test.”

2) The real you, from the ground, asks Mahana, in the tree: “What are you not seeing about this?” What are you not seeing about the real you, or about why you do this, about who you are, about what you’re afraid of?”
Mahana answers (from the tree): “What I’m not seeing is that ___________________________________________.”

3) The real you, from the ground, asks Mahana (the you that tests people): “What aspect of your real and highest self are you hesitant to risk again? What will you not risk being trampled or rejected again?” i.e. your beauty? competence? providing? vulnerability? sexuality? intimacy? sincerity? creativity? kindness? willingness to ask for what you want? etc.
Mahana answers from the tree: “I will not risk _____________________________________________.”

4) The real you (from the ground) asks Mahana: “Is it possible that you are sick of trying to get love - that you are worn down by how much effort and near perfection is required to get love?” What are you not seeing about this?”

“I’m wearing myself out trying to get love. This may be why I’m rebelling and hiding in the tree.
